City Edge and River-Main Street Junction

Weizmann Bnei Dan, Tel Aviv

How does one construct a residential building on the city’s edge – at the end of a main street which is facing a park and river? This was the question we addressed when planning this project.

The building is located on the front line of Yarkon Park, at the intersection of two significant streets in Tel Aviv.

The building’s long side faces, and effectively concludes, the Weizmann Street axis - aligning with the architectural typology of District 4’s urban fabric.
The short façade faces north, overlooking the park and Yarkon River, and aligns with the building typology of structures designed to face parks, featuring large openings and balconies.
The building follows the design principles of District 4 in the evolving city and is characterized by prominent white materiality, with steel and concrete elements.
