Ibn Gabirol Complex, Tel Aviv

The complex is largely designed in the typical urban fabric style characteristic of Ibn Gabirol Street, featuring commercial colonnades and ground-floor retail. The inner side, facing Miriam HaChashmonait Street, follows classic urban fabric construction, aligned with the city’s inner neighborhoods character.
The project’s northern part is dedicated to a tower atop a commercial base and public spaces, facing an urban square that acts as an entrance to the city center.
The tower’s envelope is designed as a curtain wall system, with each module angled in relation to the next, creating a shimmering effect of reflections that change with the time of day and seasons. This effect subtly evokes the rippling water and waves of the nearby Yarkon River in a vertical form.
The project has passed the City Engineer's forum and is currently on hold.
