Low-Rise Construction Next to Tel Aviv’s Yarkon Park

Sanhedrin 13, Tel Aviv

The project is located next to the Yarkon Park, near Bnei Dan Street in the Bavli neighborhood, north-central Tel Aviv.

The planning challenge lies in integrating into the low-rise urban fabric of District 4 while anticipating the neighborhood’s future building heights. The proximity to the park and the position of Sanhedrin Street—perpendicular to Bnei Dan Street and Yarkon Park—create an opportunity to design a building that draws inspiration both from the park and the city of Tel Aviv.

The design process began with an analysis of the area’s unique urban situation—its inclusion within District 4 and its specific location relative to the park. The resulting concept combines these urban conditions with the high-quality apartment living typical of Bavli.
The building’s materiality is inspired by the simplicity of the White City, incorporating large openings with elongated proportions. It is clad in premium white plaster by Nirlat (chosen with particular emphasis following the company’s significant loss on October 7th), with exposed concrete elements featured on the ground floor and roof levels.
