An Urban Gem in the City Fabric #02 – Pinkas Street Frontage
Pinkas 30, Tel Aviv
The project is located at the intersection of Pinkas, Remez, and Lipsky Streets, along the frontage of the main square on Pinkas Street.
The building addresses three façades, the northern of which faces Pinkas Street and is planned to expand and include a public garden, persisting along the northern frontage of the street across the road.
Its urban placement is a one-of-a-kind situation, positioned at the meeting point of three long streets within an urban circle that generates Kohnstamm Street to the south. The building is conceived as an urban gem within this asymmetrical context.
The choice of materials and form is characterized by sculpted balconies, traditional washputz plaster finish, and bronze-toned elements across all façades facing the surrounding streets.
Unlike the regular, nearly symmetrical low-rise construction in the area, Pinkas 30 is set on an irregular and challenging plot, enabling the creation of a low-rise residential building with a distinctive presence in its surroundings.
