Sculpting An Object Under The Sun
Migdal Hayetzira, Petah Tikva
The project is located at the western entrance of Petah Tikva city, on the outskirts of the Kiryat Aryeh industrial zone, near the Jabotinsky axis.
The plan is an urban building plan for a building designated for commercial and employment uses, designed as a flexible building allowing a wide range of uses including commerce, offices, medical clinics, and similar purposes.
In planning the project, we were interested in examining how light hits a simple geometric body and the ability to sculpt a structure using the average sun movement over time.
The resulting shape is an organic form that relates to the southern direction with a low wing on the eastern side of the complex, as well as creating a public space and a large square at the front of the plot, with the building embracing the square from the north.
