Creating a Neighborhood Frontage on a Main Street

Einstein 29-39, Tel Aviv

The project is located in Green Ramat Aviv, along the northern frontage of Einstein Street at the corner of Tagore Street. It is part of a comprehensive design plan for the area prepared by our office. Einstein Street serves as a primary urban axis, linking Chaim Levanon Street (and Tel Aviv University) through its intersection with Namir Road, all the way to the sea in the new Sde Dov neighborhood.

The building design references past construction patterns—both in the basic elongated building typology along the neighborhood frontage and in the choice of materials: white plaster, exposed concrete, and latticework.
The project forms part of a coordinated neighborhood construction scheme built above a shared underground parking facility, minimizing traffic circulation with only two access ramps for the entire complex.

The project is a building on a main street divided into two wings and 9 residential floors, and hosts a commercial ground floor

The corner of Einstein and Tagore Streets will be designed as a landscaped neighborhood square at the end of the commercial frontage, serving as a shaded pause point along the main street. Around the building, landscaped pedestrian routes with easements will connect Einstein Street to the neighborhood’s interior, forming part of a larger pedestrian network throughout the neighborhood and around all buildings.
