Education Axis – Low-Rise Project, Hod HaSharon
The project is part of an Urban Building Plan for the Education Axis in the city of Hod HaSharon, which enables high-rise development near Highway 4, with low-rise construction to the west, facing the city’s greenbelt.
The design consists of five irregularly shaped buildings that respond to sightlines and pedestrian movement between the northern wadi and the adjacent street, creating landscaped alleys and building entrances oriented inward toward the project rather than from the street.
The decision to design irregular structures that engage with the nearby landscape was based on an analysis of local movement patterns, the community setting, and the city’s characteristic lush greenery.

The core planning principles of the project were community, agricultural landscape, and city.
All buildings feature oak wood cladding on the ground floors and along the internal façades, while the main façades are clad in vertical white fiber cement panels.
Balconies are positioned according to near and distant views, and all windows and openings are floor-to-ceiling.
